About The Lakeway Business District Association
Formed in January 2010,
the Lakeway Business District is an association of local business and property owners.
Our mission is to create economic growth and prosperity for both new and existing businesses on Route 9 in Shrewsbury, MA while preserving and enhancing the landscape improvements from the Burns Bridge to the Oak Street intersection...named the Lakeway Business District.
Did You Know?
1. The LBDA members and sponsors solely fund:
2. The landscape maintenance is NOT funded by the Town of Shrewsbury or the Commonwealth of MA.
3. The Town of Shrewsbury fought for an additional $1M to beautify the Lakeway Business District with the understanding that it would be the responsibility of its business and property owners to maintain the landscaping.
4. Every business and property owners in the Lakeway Business District benefits from this beautification project. With your support, our association is able to continue to fund the maintenance of the Lakeway Business District.
